OKLAHOMA CITY — A new website has been launched by the AFR/OFU Cooperative with the intention of making information easily accessible to its members and the general public. Paying homage to its roots as Oklahoma Farmers Union, which dates to 1905, the AFR/OFU Cooperative today is a thriving, active farm organization offering a diverse array of member benefits.
The address for the new website is www.afrcoop.org.
“We are primarily focused on youth development, women’s leadership and legislative activities,” said Terry Detrick, AFR/OFU Cooperative president. “This new website will help us improve connections with our members while showcasing the many activities we are involved in.”
Unique features of the website include fillable registration and application forms for youth speech contests, Leadership Summit, scholarships and Women’s Cooperative events. Detailed information has been provided on an array of events and activities the AFR/OFU Cooperative offers to both members and the general public across the state of Oklahoma.
A member resources page has been created for county and local AFR organizations to download membership, financial and officer report forms. In addition, a full listing of discount benefits members receive has been provided.
Website users can also view the latest edition of AFR Today, listen to podcasts and find press releases on the latest Cooperative events. Photo galleries of AFR/OFU Cooperative activities are also available.
