DAVIS, Calif. — The Advances in Pistachio Production Short Course will be offered in a virtual format in November by UC Agriculture and Natural Resources. The multi-day, multi-topic course will provide participants with the latest information and research from experts on pistachio orchard production, field preparation, planting, pruning, economics, diseases, integrated pest management and harvesting.
The course is designed for pistachio growers. Others interested in pistachio production are also welcome. Speakers will cover the accepted science that supports current and developing production practices, including regional differences in pistachio production.
The program will take place virtually, over a span of six days beginning Nov. 2 and ending on Nov. 19. Registration is open and offers a full course package and individual day registrations. Early registration of $300 for the full course ends Oct. 26, 2020. Single days are $75 until Oct. 26. Register at https://ucanr.edu/sites/
