WATERTOWN, N.Y. — Are you in the food, beverage, or agricultural industry in Upstate New York? Would you like to learn how to access capital to grow your business? On Thursday, May 25 farmers and food related businesses are invited to attend a free workshop and resource expo sponsored by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, Empire State Development, New York State Department of Agriculture & Markets, and Cornell University Cooperative Extension.
Participants will hear information from experts and lenders about which type of financing is appropriate for you, what lenders look for in potential borrowers, alternatives to traditional bank loans and how to connect with training and technical assistance for your agriculture business.
This event will be held on Thursday, May 25 from 10am to 3:00pm at the Jules Center Amphitheater at Jefferson Community College, 1220 Coffeen Street, Watertown.
