OGLESBY, Ill. — University of Illinois Extension – Bureau, LaSalle, Marshall, Putnam Unit invites you to a Soil Health Seminar taking place on Wednesday, February 27, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 Noon at Illinois Valley Community College, Oglesby, IL in Room CTC 124.
The cooperative program, “A Day in Conservation and Soil Health,” includes: USDA/NRCS, Soil Health Partnership, Nutrient Management Specialists and University of Illinois Extension. The program speakers include: Jim Isermann – Soil Health Partnership; Pete Fandel – Illinois Central College, Agricultural and Industrial Technologies; Larry Tombaugh – Nutrient Management Specialists; Jill Kostel – Senior Environmental Engineer, the Wetland Initiative; Lori Younker – USDA-NRCS Engineer; Gregg Pearson – CCA Sales Representative, Holland & Sons Inc., Nutrient Stewardship of Northern Illinois; Vicki Heath – Resource Conservationist, LaSalle SWCD; Mitch Jarman – Soil Conservationist, USDA-NRCS; and a Farmer Panel: Carl Zimmerman, Gary Small and Larry Tombaugh.
