CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — Join Penn State Extension on March 8, 2024, for an informative and engaging in-person workshop that will provide dairy farmers with tools to reduce mastitis on their farms and increase overall farm profitability.
Attendees will learn how to develop and implement milking practices to prevent mastitis, how to identify mastitis causes for a better cure rate, how to utilize DHIA records to make profitable treatment decisions, and how to put protocols in place for effective treatment results.
The workshop will be held in the Ag Heritage Building next to the Franklin County Extension Office located at 185 Franklin Farm Lane, Chambersburg, PA. Lunch will be provided, and the registration fee is $15.
