BROOME CO., N.Y. — Interested in purchasing quality locally grown meat for your freezer, Broome County 4-H youth are selling hand raised lamb, chickens, goats, and hogs at the 7th Annual 4-H Livestock Sale Saturday, July 29th at 7:00pm at the Broome County Fairgrounds. Youth have spent several months raising and caring for their animals and gained valuable skills in animal science, nutrition, marketing, and business. Buyers do not need to be present to purchase a market animal and all proceeds for the sale directly support 4-H youth and the Broome County 4-H program.
