MADERA, Calif. — The International Agri-Center® and World Ag Expo® and the Central Valley Toyota Dealers presented a check in the amount of $87,000 to Valley Children’s Healthcare during the All Guild Picnic on the hospital grounds on May 22, in Madera, California.
The check represented the total funds raised by the Guilds of Valley Children’s Healthcare, who participated in World Ag Expo’s® Toyota Tundra Giveaway by selling chances to win a new 2019 Tundra. The proceeds from the giveaway will directly benefit the Central California hospital.
“Being able to partner with the International Agri-Center and World Ag Expo in support of Valley Children’s Healthcare has been a remarkable opportunity,” said Mindy Rolland, 2019 All Guild Fundraising Chair and Las Madrinas Guild member. “We’re thankful to the thousands of supporters and attendees who purchased tickets, and the Guilds look forward to continuing this collaboration in support of the children and families cared for at Valley Children’s.”
The Tundra truck, won by Victor Astorga of Poplar, CA on the final day of World Ag Expo®, was donated by the Central Valley Toyota Dealers, through their role as the Official Truck of World Ag Expo®.
“We enjoy our continued partnership with Valley Children’s Healthcare and Toyota,” said Jerry Sinift, Chief Executive Officer, International Agri-Center®. “This fundraiser continues to grow from the efforts of the Guilds and the support of the Central Valley before and during World Ag Expo®. We always look forward to seeing how much is raised each year to help Valley Children’s Healthcare continue their amazing work.”
The 2020 World Ag Expo® Toyota Tundra Giveaway, benefiting Valley Children’s Healthcare, is set to kick off ticket sales this fall.
