MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. — The Cornell Cooperative Extension 4-H Alumni Committee of Orange County announces a 5K Run/Walk and Bunny Hop on Saturday, April 7, 2018. The event will be held at the Cornell Cooperative Extension Office, 18 Seward Avenue, Middletown, New York. The 5K will begin at 10 a.m. with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m. followed by a Bunny Hop at 11 a.m. The entry fee for the 5K is $25 per adult prior to the event and $35 the day of the event. For children, the entry fee for the 100 Yard Bunny Hop (10 years and younger) is $10 for one child or $15 for two or more children (all immediate family). Strollers are allowed, but will be required to start behind runners. Pets are not allowed at this race.
All 5K runners and walkers will receive a medal upon completion of the race. The awards ceremony will begin at 11 a.m.: top 2 overall male and female runners and walkers, plus top 3 male and female runners in the following age categories: 13 & under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Prizes will be given to all registered Bunny Hop children. All profits go towards the building of the Cornell Cooperative Extension Education Center & 4‐H Park.
