GREENSBORO, N.C. — The Guilford County Extension Master Gardener Volunteers and partners, Guilford County Beekeepers, will hold the 4th Annual Bee Friendly to Bees Day on Saturday, August 19, from 9am to 1pm. The family event is free, open to the public, and will be held at the Extension Demonstration Garden, 3309 Burlington Rd., Greensboro.
Come celebrate National Honey Bee Day and join the fun. Talk with beekeepers and observe a hive, sample local honey, learn about plants that attract bees in the pollinator garden, build a bee hotel, go on a scavenger hunt, visit the learning stations placed throughout the garden, meet the author of children’s nature books, and more.
