ALBANY — The 4R NY Nutrient Stewardship Certification Program is seeking program auditors. The 4R NY program depends on independent third-parties to conduct the annual on-site audits. The auditor would visit a participating facility and using the compliance guidelines and the 4R NY Standards evaluate the facility’s compliance level.
4R NY is looking for individuals with knowledge and experience in the areas of; agricultural commercial nutrient management, agricultural soil and water management, Cornell guidelines and 590 standards. Certified Crop Adviser status preferred. Participant companies may not sponsor their own auditor.
Auditors would receive a $900 audit fee and up to $250 in travel reimbursement per participant location. Typical onsite work for an audit estimated at up to 6 hours, followed by offsite time completing audit filing.
