MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. — Does your child love animals and want to learn more about different species? Is your child interested in becoming a veterinarian? This program will fit the bill so have them join our new 4-H Vet Science Club! This program will introduce youth to the importance of animal health in a wide variety of species. Youth will hear from experts in the vet science field as well as engage in hands-on activities and learning.
The 4-H Veterinary Science Club will help your child explore and learn more about animal health. It also allows youth to appreciate the importance of good management and sanitation practices in keeping animals healthy and happy. Our program will run from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the CCEOC Education and 4-H Park. Our program dates will be October 16, October 23, October 30, November 13th, and November 16th.
Your child will be enrolled as 4-H member and will gain access to all of the wonderful programs, classes, and activities hosted by the Orange County 4-H Program. We look forward to sparking your child’s interest in agriculture. This is a first come first serve program that will only be accepting the first 20 youth ages 12 to 19 so be sure to sign up quickly. The registration deadline (which is not complete until your $25.00 payment is made) is October 2nd, 2019.
