DOYLESTOWN, Pa. — Bucks County 4-H is holding Veterinary Science classes for local kids ages 12-18. The six classes will be taught over a six-week period. These classes will be taught by veterinarians and are for youth who have an interest in animals.
There will be two sessions for Vet Science Level I, which instructs on the normal animal. Youth members will learn about animal behavior, maintaining health and how to take temperatures, pulses and respiration rates.
One course will be held on Wednesday evenings at Delaware Valley University beginning Feb. 14. The second course will be held on Saturday mornings at the Wrightstown Library beginning March 10. An animal farm tour at Delaware Valley University will be March 31 for both programs.
