SANDUSKY, Mich. — Registration is now open for the 2018 4-H Teen Spokesperson Training. The Teen Spokesperson workshop is open to 4-H and non-4-H members who wish to increase their communication skills. Teen Spokesperson Training will include public speaking, dining etiquette, and interview practice. Breakout sessions will include social media, video, photovoice, and print media. The skills learned at this training will help youth prepare for future interviews, whether they are applying for a job or promoting 4-H in their community.
This is a one-day training, scheduled July 31st 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Suburban Collection Showplace located at 46100 Grand River Ave. in Novi, Michigan.
Register online at https://events.anr.msu.edu/TeenSpokesperson18/; registration fee includes etiquette lunch (plated/served meal). Registration fee is $25; payment may be made by cash, check, or credit card. The workshop is open to youth ages 12-19 as of January 1, 2018.
