CUMBERLAND, Maine – The Cumberland County 4-H Leader’s Association will be holding their annual 4-H Pig Raffle Ticket Sales and 4-H Kitchen Food Booth Fundraisers during the 2018 Cumberland Fair, open daily 6:00 A.M.- 9:00 P.M., Sunday, September 23 to Saturday, September 29, 2018, 197 Blanchard Road, Cumberland, ME 04021.
The 4-H Pig Raffle and 4-H Kitchen are the annual fundraisers held by the Cumberland County 4-H Leader’s Association to support scholarships, camperships, activities, events, and trips for 4-H members in Cumberland County. Pig Raffle tickets are on sale now at the UMaine Extension Cumberland Office, 75 Clearwater Dr., Ste 104 Falmouth, ME 04105, or can be purchased during the Cumberland Fair at the 4-H Pig Raffle Booth located in front of the 4-H Exhibit Hall. Tickets are $1 each, or $5 for six, for a chance to win a freezer-ready pig donated by the Strawbridge Family, raised by Don & Nora Strawbridge with grain also donated by the Strawbridge Family, and processing donated by Windham Butcher Shop. Drawing will be held Saturday, September 29, 2018 you do not need to be present to win.
The 4-H Kitchen opens daily at 6:00 A.M. and closes at 9:00 P.M. It is located at the back of the 4-H Exhibit Hall and offers an affordable & basic menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Both the Pig Raffle Booth and 4-H Kitchen are staffed by 4-H members, volunteers, parents, and friends all donating their time to support 4-H.
