OZARK, Mo. — Christian County 4-H youth will host a pie and dessert auction along with a soup and chili dinner from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, May 4 at the First Baptist Church in Ozark.
The auction and dinner are open to the public (both adults and youth).
The auction will have pies and desserts donated by local restaurants and businesses along with items homemade by 4-H youth and family members. The Christian County Deadeyes shooting sports club will also be offering a chance to win a 50/50 raffle.
“The 4-H youth are trying to raise enough money to get new 4-H shirts this year,” said Christian County 4-H Educator Jennifer Hancock.
The money raised at this event will also be used for youth recognition and awards at the fair, for awards during the annual 4-H recognition night, and to fund other program needs during the 4-H year.
Members of the community are invited to come and enjoy a $5 soup or chili meal before the auction.
