NEWBERRY, S.C. — The new 4-H Club year begins September 1. However, we are currently still under modify operating procedures as outlined by Clemson University. All face-to-face programs are suspended until further notice. With that said, I will be recording a cooking demonstration video each month and emailing them out to those interested in joining a 4-H In the Kitchen Club. I know this is not the same as our monthly meetings, but it is a way to keep kids in the kitchen and give them something hands-on to do. You will be required to join by registering in our 4HOnline portal like last year.
Cost of membership is still $15 and does include a t-shirt. However, there will not be a $2 monthly meeting fee until we are able to start meeting in person. When we do meet in person, the In the Kitchen Clubs will have limited spaces. Please let me know if you are interested in receiving the videos. They will begin in September.
Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions. Thanks and good luck this school year!
