TROY, N.Y. — At the Rensselaer County 4-H General Interest Banquet 4-H volunteers and members were recognized for their leadership, dedication and outstanding achievements. 4-H members awarded county medals were: Amanda Thrasher (Beef Cattle), Shane Thrasher (Leadership), and Adam Film (Wood Science).
4-H members recognized for the their participation at the Schaghticoke Fair were: Luke Giglio and Bret Giglio, Shepherdship award for sheep, Ava Helou, Sydney Helou, Hannah Baker, and Kaelyn Eagan for Goat Herdsmanship award, and Aaron Cipperly, Swine Herdsmanship award.
Honor Club awards were presented to: Jogging Juniors, Clover Kids & Critters, Stablemates, and Green Earthlings 4-H clubs. The following clubs were recognized for National 4–H Week displays: Cantering Cowpokes, Jogging Juniors, Green Earthlings, Rensselaer County 4-H Trailblazers, Clover Kids & Critters, Stablemates, and Fashionistas.
