WATERTOWN, N.Y. — Cornell Cooperative Extension of Jefferson County and 4-H Camp Wabasso are excited to announce that they are the recipient of a grant for $17,000 through the New York State 4-H Office from the National 4-H Council to increase accessibility to 4-H Camp Wabasso through camp scholarships. The grant requires a dollar for dollar match of $17,000. Staff are working hard to raise the additional funds. At this time, $8,725 has been raised. If you and/or someone you know would like to donate to the scholarship fund, it would be greatly appreciated. Every year the number of families requesting scholarships far exceeds the amount of funds available. The current donors are:

Camp scholarship applications are due on April 12, 2019 by 5pm. Income eligible families may apply. Military families of any income may also apply, this includes active duty, reserve, national guard, veterans, Gold Star families and all branches of the service.
