ALLENTOWN, Pa. — Come join Lehigh County 4-H at the Lehigh County Agricultural Center for a day full of excellent AG-ventures. On Aug. 22, the Lehigh County Extension office will be holding a 4-H Ag Explorers Day Camp from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is open to youth aged 8-18.
The day is full of different agricultural adventures as youth learn about the world around them. Learning about different farm animals and how to make butter are just a couple examples of what the campers will participate in.
The campers will also be exploring how their food gets from farm to table and how to grow their own food. Youth will gain more knowledge about the pollinators that help our food grow as well as those insects that don’t belong here.
Please register by Aug. 7. For more information, contact the Lehigh County Extension office at 610-391-9840 or lehighext@psu.edu.
