COXSACKIE, N.Y. — Cornell Cooperative Extension and the Capital Area Agriculture & Horticulture Program (CAAHP) are pleased to present the 2nd Annual Fall Round-Up Grazier Meeting on October 29, 2019 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at Lime Kiln Farm, 523 Lime Kiln Rd., West Coxsackie, NY.
Sheep, goats, and beef cattle are raised, value-added and retailed at Lime Kiln Farm (www.limekilnfarm.com), owned by Brent Zimmerman and Alessandro Voglino. They will share the history of their farm and the lessons they learned as they achieved success.
Cornell Cooperative Extension Livestock Educator Ashley Pierce will discuss culling decisions to make efficient use of winter feed and labor. CCE Agronomy Educator Aaron Gabriel will demonstrate the benefits of healthy soils and how to improve your soils.
