BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. — CCE Equine invites you to the 28th Annual Saratoga Horse Symposium! On Saturday May 18, 2019 the area’s foremost horse enthusiasts will gather for a day of fun, education, and mingling. Beginning at 8:30 AM, participants will arrive at the Saratoga County 4-H Training Center, 556 Middleline Road, Ballston Spa, NY 12020. Classes will begin at 9:00 AM.
Sponsored by New York Thoroughbred Breeding and Development Fund with The Agriculture and New York State Horse Breeding Development Fund, the symposium is proud to announce ten different presentations and demonstrations by the following experts: Patricia Baker- Saddle Fitting, Sarah Collier- Equine Liability: Navigating the Safety in the Agriculture Tourism Act, Liz Deluca- Enhancing Communication through Ground Work, Dr. Lynn Dunn- Demystifying Horse Nutrition, Dr. Kraig Kulikowski- Training or Straining, Jenniffer Longwell- How Can I Tell My Horses’ Teeth Need to Be Floated, Jeff Morse- Driving Demonstration and Presentation, Kim Walker- Natural Horsemanship Techniques for Success, and two presentations by farriers Ashley Gaskey and Mike Isles!
Participants will also be able to browse vendors and sponsorship booths while in between classes or bid on a variety of great goods and services in the Silent Auction! Food will be available for purchase throughout the day.
Registration is $15 for adults and $5 for 4-H youth. All proceeds from this annual fundraiser directly benefit educational equine programming and the 4-H Training Center.
