PROCTORSVILLE, Vt. — The 2023 Master Logger Water Protection Workshop will be held June 8th, 2023, from 7:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Proctorsville Fire Dept., 531 Main St, Proctorsville, VT. Cost to attend is free!
Employees, foremen and owners of Master Logger Certified® companies should join us for an outside, interactive workshop that will cover protecting water resources through AMPs, harvest planning, acceptable management practices and logging around riparian areas.
This workshop will focus on:
- Skid trail AMPs and using the new AMP Smartphone app
- Calculating AMP costs
- AMPs for roads, ditches and culverts
- Logging around riparian areas for aquatic species
This workshop is for Master Logger Certified companies, but other loggers, foresters, landowners, municipal officials are encouraged to attend pending space.

The workshop will include a short morning session from each presenter and then a field session with each presenter having a training station.
