WEST CHESTER, Pa. — The 2022 Tractor and Farm Safety Course is open for all Chester County youth who wish to work on a farm or operate farm machinery for employment. If you are between the ages of 14 and 16 and wish to work on a farm other than your parents’, you are required to have a certification showing that you completed this course before operating any equipment. This course is designed to give youth 24 hours of training in safe operation of farm tractors and some farm machinery. The course dates are as follows: April 14, 19, 21, 26, 28, and May 3, 5, 10. Youth MUST attend all sessions.
The classes will be held at the Octorara High School Vo-Ag room T-13, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
There is NO charge to attend the program. The program is proudly sponsored by the Chester Delaware Farm Bureau.
