JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — Nominations for the 2022 Missouri Leopold Conservation Award®, which comes with statewide recognition and $10,000, are now being accepted. The Leopold Conservation Award honors farmers and ranchers committed to leaving the land better than they found it. This is the sixth year the program has been offered in Missouri. In addition to honoring an outstanding individual or family, this award is intended to inspire others in their land management journeys and demonstrate Missouri agriculture’s commitment to land management that benefits farm families and broader society. Missouri landowners committed to land management practices that advance conservation are eligible. Visit http://mofarmerscare.com/lca/ to nominate a friend or neighbor who shows exemplary practices. Self-nominations are also accepted.
