SALEM, Ore. — Taiwan is the eighth largest market for U.S. food and agricultural exports and the largest consumer of these products on a per capita basis. Due to the country’s COVID-19 management, Taiwan’s economy has been minimally impacted by the pandemic and is still a very attractive market for Western U.S. exports today.
To help companies take advantage of opportunities in the Taiwan market, the Western U.S. Agricultural Trade Association (WUSATA) will be facilitating a foodservice virtual group meeting on October 13, 2021 with Taiwan buyers.
This is a great opportunity for both established and new-to-market companies to connect with qualified distributors and buyers in Taiwan. Each supplier will submit an approx. two (2) minute company introduction video prior to the event. During the event, each company’s video will be shown, followed by a short presentation on its company/products, plus a Q&A session with a minimum of 10 buyers.
As Taiwan is a popular market among WUSATA companies, spots are expected to fill up fast. Make sure to register soon if you are interested in this opportunity!
