SAINT PAUL, Minn. — Updating horse owners and professionals with research-based information is the goal of the 2021 UMN Equine Virtual Conference being held online on Thursday, January 21, 2021 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM CST. Four research summaries will be shared, including updates focused on reducing round bale hay waste during outdoor storage, genetics of pituitary pars intermedia dysfunction (PPID), composting horse mortalities, and cardiac arrhythmias in racehorses.
