GEORGETOWN, Del. — The 2020 Delmarva Soil Summit will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 26 and 27 at Delaware Technical Community College in Georgetown, Del.
Experts from across the country will discuss the latest research and innovations in soil health. Whether you farm 2 or 2,000 acres, there will be something here for you!
The conference kicks off on Wednesday, Feb. 26 at noon with research updates from expert speakers and concludes with a cover crop cocktail party from 5 to 7 p.m.
Day two begins at 8:30 a.m. with a plenary session covering carbonomics, soil biology and cover crop economics. Afternoon breakout sessions and farmer panels will deliver information relevant to small- and large-scale growers. Tickets are $20 to $60 and are available for a single day or the full conference.
A pre-conference workshop on “Purposeful Cover Cropping” will be held Wednesday, Feb. 26, from 9 a.m. to noon. Seating is limited to 50 participants; a separate $20 ticket is required.
