SCHAGHTICOKE, N.Y. — The recipient of this year’s Rosekrans award is Brigham Logue.
This award is selected by the cattle program in memory of Helen Rosekrans, a long time cattle leader and Schaghticoke Fair “Mom” to all. It is designed to recognize an outstanding high school graduating senior who has been a “model” 4-H member and who has been involved in the cattle program throughout their 4-H Career. Members who have been active not only in showing cattle, but have taken advantage of other offerings 4-H has in terms of the educational events related to cattle.
Brigham Logue is the son of Bernadine Wiesen and Chris Logue. Brigham has been a member of the 4-H community for over 10 years, and was a member of the Stablemates and Wild Things 4-H clubs. Brigham has a very long and extensive list for his participation in 4-H. He was heavily involved not only in the cattle, horse, and sheep programs, but took advantage of all this organization had to offer him. His involvement includes, but is not limited to: Showing and Volunteering at the Schaghticoke Fair, Dairy Bowl, the Livestock Auction, Teen Ambassadors, Teen exchange, Pet Therapy, Trips, and so much more. Congratulations Brigham! You are very deserving of this award and we thank you for all you have done throughout the years.
