Show hours will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday with free admission and free parking. Priority renewal has begun for exhibitors who displayed in 2018. Space Requests are also being taken for new exhibitors to be processed at the close of the priority renewal period, which ends May 4. Exhibitors are encouraged to contract their space as soon as possible to help ensure their preferred location. Space Request forms are available online on the Exhibitor Information page of the 3i SHOW website at www.3ishow.com.
With only a 3-month turnaround between the announcement of new March show dates and the 2018 3i SHOW opening day, Western Kansas Manufacturers Association (WKMA), sponsor of the 3i SHOW, would like to thank all of the exhibitors who were able to return and display on such short notice. The new dates received overwhelmingly positive feedback and confirmed the dates fall during a time when farmers, ranchers and producers are able to attend. Those exhibitors who could not return on such short notice have also expressed very positive feedback for the new March dates, indicating their plans to return in 2019.
Event planning is well underway. Attendees can anticipate a Community College Invitational Rodeo sponsored by Dodge City Community College and a Junior Livestock Show sponsored by the High Plains Journal! In addition, be sure to SAVE THE DATE for High School Ag Career Day on Thursday, March 21. Presentations are being planned, and suggestions are welcome by emailing info@3ishow.com. Thank you Black Hills Energy, American Society of Ag Protection, Dragon-Line, the National Weather Service and U.S. Congressman Roger Marshall for hosting presentations in 2018. Special thanks to the Dodge City Library for coordinating all of the required presentation equipment.
Exhibitors interested in hosting live demonstrations in 2019 are encouraged to contact WKMA for coordination as soon as possible. Demonstration Request forms are available online. Thank you to those exhibitors who hosted live demonstration events in 2018, including Blattner Feedlot Construction for demonstrating their 110 and 200 Hydraulic Squeeze Chutes as well as “The Duke” Portable Wheel Corral; Landoll Corporation for demonstrating their 1790-52 Blade Plow and 7500 Series VT Plus with Adjustable Gangs; and Simpson Farm Enterprises for their Apache AS630 demonstrations.
In addition, those exhibitors interested in hosting giveaways of $500 or more AT the show should also contact WKMA. Thank you to Channel Seed for hosting a seed giveaway and Hannebaum Grain Co. for hosting a K-State Football Package Giveaway this year.
