LEXINGTON, Ky. — The 2018 Integrated Pest Management Field School will be held Wednesday, March 7, at the Christian County Cooperative Extension office in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.
Speakers include specialists with the University of Kentucky College of Agriculture, Food and Environment. They will speak on the following topics:
- Management of tough-to-control and herbicide resistant weeds in Kentucky
- Farm wildlife management
- Research update on entomological studies on row crops
- Fungicide fundamentals
- Improving communication between applicators and beekeepers
- Reviewing Kentucky’s IPM priorities
Program organizers have applied for continuing education units for pesticide applicators in categories 1, 10, 12, and 14.
