CLEMSON, S.C.–Don’t miss Kalmia Gardens of Coker College Annual Earth Day Festival and Duck Cup Race on April 21st! There will be a Rain Barrel Art Contest, sponsored by The Florence Darlington Stormwater Consortium. Help judge hand painted barrels by local schools and community groups. This year there will be many additional fun events that are adult and kid friendly.
There will be games and other children’s activities, as well as reptile and amphibian displays, guided biology, and birding walks. There will also be environmental information booths, as well as music and arts and craft vendors. In case you are unable to attend the DCMGA plant sale, the Master Gardeners will be here to sell you plants.
The Annual Earth Day Festival will coincide with the Duck Cup Race fundraiser. Ducks are only a five dollar donation, and cash prizes are available. Ducks will drop at noon. So come on out, enjoy some free refreshments, live music, and partake in all of the Earth Day and Duck Cup, and Rain Barrel Art Contest fun!
