IOWA FALLS, Iowa — Two meetings on the 2018 Farm Bill will be held Tuesday afternoon, January 28, 1:30-3:30 p.m., in the Fellowship Hall at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Eldora and Wednesday evening, January 29, 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., in Hamilton Auditorium on the Ellsworth Community College campus in Iowa Falls. Presenters will be Kelvin Leibold, Iowa State University Extension Farm Management Field Specialist and Sandy Hoversten, Executive Director for Hardin County Farm Service Agency.
Information on the 2018 Farm Bill will include Yield Updating, Price Loss Coverage (PLC) and Ag Risk Management (ARC) and Implications of PLC and ARC on participation in the Supplemental Coverage Option (SCO) and related decisions that need to be made by March 15, 2020. There will be a time for questions and answers.
