RALEIGH, N.C.–For NC 4-H’ers interested in showing at the 2018 NC State 4-H Horse Show: Your local Extension agent has received the documents and information regarding 2018 eligibility cards. Every county has different requirements regarding obtaining an eligibility card, so be sure to find out what the requirements are for your county.
4-H’ers will be able to show at 1 Qualifying Show of their choice (North, South, East or West). You must declare which show you will be attending based on the guidelines shared by your local Extension agent. This year’s shows are as follows:
May 6- West (WNC Ag Center, Fletcher)
May 5-6- East (Gov. Martin Ag Center, Williamston)
May 18-20th (Why Not an American Ark, Monroe)
May 19-20th (Gov. Hunt Horse Complex, Raleigh)
Each qualifying show will be advertising their entry due dates and 4-H’ers must consult the entry deadlines and requirements for the qualifying show they are attending to be sure that all their paperwork is turned in on time and correctly.
When available, 2018 Qualifying Horse Show packets will be on the District Advisory Council page on the Equine Husbandry website.
