NAPLES, Fla. — The 2017 Collier County Fruit Tour will take place 9:00 to 1:00 Saturday July 15. We will meet at the Golden Gate Community Center at 8:30 to reload in vans.
Starting out from the Golden Gate Community Center (4701 Golden Gate Pkwy), we’ll load up in several vans to tour first, a lychee-longan grove and second, a mango-other subtropical fruits orchard. You’ll have a chance to sample some raw fruit as well as some specially prepared fruit delicacies.
Because of space limitations and fruit availability we can only take 30 people! First come first served! Be sure to sign up before July 8! Cost is $25.
Bring fire ant tolerant shoes, umbrella, sunscreen, water, etc.
