DODGE CITY, Kan. — Western Kansas Manufacturers Association provides scholarships each year to several area universities and vocational technical colleges. The scholarships are partially funded each year by the sale of limited-edition belt buckles commemorating the upcoming 3i SHOW. Buckles as well as hats will be sold at the 63rd Annual 3i SHOW in Dodge City at the Western State Bank Expo Center October 12-14 at the information booth located in the northeast corner of the concrete section of the building. Order forms are also available online at www.3ishow.com/3ishow/merchandise.
At this time, scholarships remain available for the 2017-2018 school year at Barton Community College, Garden City Community College, and NCK Tech. Scholarships have been awarded to students attending Colby Community College, Dodge City Community College, Northwest Kansas Technical College, Seward County Community College/Area Tech School, Fort Hays State University, Kansas State University and the University of Kansas.
Qualifying students are U.S. Citizens residing in Western Kansas who have graduated from a Western Kansas high school. The scholarships are for freshman students with preference given to those enrolling in Agri-Business, Industrial Engineering, Pre-Engineering or Business Administration.
