COLUSA, Calif. — Dorene “Dee Dee” D’Adamo will provide the keynote address at the 15th annual Colusa Farm Show Rabobank Breakfast. The breakfast will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2017 in Saint Bernadette’s Hall, 745 Ware St., in Colusa, California, beginning at 7 a.m.
D’Adamo was appointed to the State Water Resources Control Board in 2013. She previously served on the California Air Resources Control Board under governors Jerry Brown, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Gray Davis, and she was a senior policy advisor for both congressmen Jim Costa and Dennis Cardoza. D’Adamo earned a Juris Doctor from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. D’Adamo lives in Turlock and is married to a farmer.
Breakfast committee chairman Les Heringer said the committee is pleased to have D’Adamo as the guest speaker.
“In her role as a director on the State Water Resources Control Board, she is very involved in the Sustainable Groundwater Management Plan and minimum flow requirements for fish now being discussed on the San Joaquin River and Sacramento River systems,” Heringer said. “These are issues that are relevant and timely for our audience.”
