TOPIC: Homemade Winemaking Made Easy with Main Street Winery
Ken Kibler operates a family owned winery and supply shop in Arcade, NY. Main Street Winery offers a wide range of supplies and accessories for all your wine and beer making needs. The presentation portion of Garden Bounty 2019 will focus on wine making at home. Ken will give a rundown of easy to use winemaking kits available at Main Street Winery, while providing helpful pointers, for those who may want to try making their own wine. Come hear the story of how Ken got into winemaking, became Wyoming Counties first winery, and taste some of the delicious wines created by Main Street Winery. Bottles of wine will be available to purchase at the end of the event.
As in previous years, Wyoming County Cornell Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners will be providing a dinner, dessert, and refreshments, utilizing locally grown products.
