MIDDLETOWN, N.Y.–Cornell Cooperative Extension Orange County will hold its Annual Meeting and Awards Dinner at The Fountains in Middletown on Monday, Nov. 26, 2018. Social Hour begins at 6 PM followed by dinner at 7 PM. Tickets are $55.00 per person. The “Friend of Extension Award” will be presented to Orange County Department of Health, Community Outreach for their continued support and commitment to the programs of Cornell Cooperative Extension Orange County and the valuable hours of educational services helping to provide many opportunities to the residents of Orange County.
The “Volunteer of the Year Award” will be presented to Mr. Ray Macur of Pine Bush. The award is presented to an individual who demonstrates support for Cornell Cooperative Extension and its mission through many hours of volunteering and participation in programs/activities to enhance the opportunities available for the youth and adults of Orange County.
The business meeting agenda includes the election of the 2019 Board of Directors.
The slate of candidates include Kristin Jensen of Washingtonville, Gary Johnson of Chester, Everett Collie of Middletown, Maggie Smith of Port Jervis and Megan R. Conroy of Middletown.
