COLUMBUS, Ohio — Nearly 25,000 ice cream lovers from throughout Ohio voted in Ohio Farm Bureau’s 2nd Annual Ohio Ice Cream Battle for their favorite go-to spot to cool off this summer with a cone, milkshake or banana split.
With nearly 22% of the overall votes, Michael’s Ice Cream in Jackson County is the 2020 contest champion.
“This is a great confirmation that our loyal customers still enjoy coming here and that what we are doing here has reached further than we ever realized,” said Meeka Mohler, the owner of Michael’s. “We couldn’t continue to do what we do without a strong customer base and the people who come in daily and support us like rggeaepassionate about their favorite ice cream, so each location in our Top 10 is surely worth the trip.”
